Causes
The state of panic and anxiety can be due to the following reasons:
1. Allah has naturally placed a built-in alarm system in the human defense system, which alerts the human being for his own protection in the event of various threats, due to which the human being consciously adopts a cautious behavior, for example, a wild animal in the forest. Sensing the presence of, driving while being careful of accidents etc. In some cases, there is an imbalance in the chemical substances of this alarm system, due to which this alarm system becomes more sensitive and starts working even without any real danger, due to which the patient There is no self-control and seizures take over.
2. Due to a phobia, eg crowded places, facing people, high swings etc.
3. In some people this defensive alarm system is inherently weak.

5. This component of the defense system also becomes more sensitive due to extreme problems and over stresses found in the lives of some people.
6. Fear of being caught suddenly before or during the commission of a crime also leads to this condition.
7. After a long illness.
Treatment
Panic and anxiety attack symptoms are actually so severe that a person may think they are having a heart attack. Some people feel that the blood circulation in the head will burst or they will lose their mental balance. But despite these severe symptoms, the encouraging thing is that this disease is so dangerous for human life and Not life threatening. Instead of trying to escape from it, it should be faced bravely. Its treatment is based on the following two methods:
Medications:
Medications are given to correct chemical imbalances in the immune system’s alarm mechanism, which is chemically based. These drugs restore the system so that it starts performing its functions properly. Generally there is an impression that the patient becomes addicted to these drugs but this is not the case rather these drugs play an important role in the rehabilitation of the addicted person without any side effects. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
Treatment with Psychotherapy:
Treatment through counseling is the mainstay. It improves the patient’s thoughts and overall attitudes along the following lines:
1. Through Cognitive Behavior Therapy, this disease is defeated by correcting the fixed thoughts found within the patient with the help of experimental measures. He should understand that every time a fast heart beat does not lead to a seizure.
2. Similarly, due to fear of crowds, such a patient becomes phobic. Such apprehensions are allayed by various experiences.
3. De-breathing is practiced.
4. Relaxation exercises are done.
5. With moral support and proper encouragement, these symptoms are quickly relieved.
6. Intoxicants such as caffeine, drugs and energy drinks are avoided.
A person who has the fear of Allah in his heart cannot have any other fear in his heart. When one thing is certain that what Allah has written will continue to happen, then our baseless doubts and fears have no importance. The affected person can get rid of this disease with his willpower and the above treatment. Moreover, long prostrations by prostrating in the presence of Allah improves its efficiency by active circulation of blood in the cells of the brain, and the words of Lahool, Laquwat al-Iblalah and Istighfar also help in ending this condition.
