A study found that consuming plenty of peas, soybeans, corn, and blue cheese can help prevent disease and lead to a longer life.

According to research, all these foods contain a compound called spermidine in rich amounts, which can help prevent cancer, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease.

In one study, scientists learned that spermidine reverses the body’s circadian rhythm, making it ‘younger’ and reducing the risk of age-related diseases.

Decreased amounts of polyamines (compounds found in all living cells) cause circadian rhythms to slow, the researchers reported.
